Your first day with Snap: setup, activation and recovery

A practical checklist for installing Snap, testing your counter and keeping a usable backup.

Download the official Windows installer

Use the Downloads page and check its version and platform details. The published checksum identifies the file on that page. Install it on the computer you intend to use. If the application does not start, record the version and error and contact support before entering real shop data.

Use the trial to test a complete task

Try a sample product, a sale and a repair job. Check the actual receipt from your own printer. Confirm how to remove demonstration records before live trading. Test with the staff member who will operate the counter; a successful installation alone is not a complete setup test.

Keep the purchase reference

Choose Buy licence inside Snap to create a request. Send its reference when contacting JJSOFT GLOBAL on WhatsApp. Payment is arranged and verified manually. After receiving the purchased serial, enter it in the app while connected to the internet. Keep the purchase information privately for later support.

Keep a backup away from the computer

A local backup is useful, but the same disk can be lost with the original database. Use the application’s backup workflow and keep a separate copy in a suitable location you control. Choose access permissions carefully because the backup may contain business and customer records.

Practise recovery before you need it

Test a restoration with a safe copy and confirm that expected records and totals are present. Do not overwrite a live database to experiment. If you replace the PC, contact support about licence transfer as well as data restoration. Shared access from several computers is a different requirement from recovering onto a replacement PC.
